Software Engineer · Web Developer · Designer

Charlotte, NC

I've been a software engineer professionally since 2015. I began as a front-end developer and have grown to become a back-end developer, operations engineer, product manager, scrum master, and designer. I am known amongst my peers as attentive to detail, as an advocate for testing and documentation, and as a true follower of the principle "do it right the first time".

A few projects

Wells Beach Time

A mobile web app for making the most of your Maine beach vacation.

This web app pulls tide and weather data from free third-party APIs (including OpenWeather and NOAA) to show residents (such as my family) and visitors to Wells, Maine the ideal time to make use of the beach each day. The app is used on a daily basis.

paste-dupes

A simple desktop web app for getting rid of duplicates in lists and comparing them.

This app grew out of a need to remove duplicates from Spotify playlists and run comparisons between playlists. When one copies songs in Spotify and pastes them into a text field, the songs show as text URLs. The app uses those URLs to check for duplicates.

simple-calc

A simple JavaScript calculator with a little canvas color.

This online calculator can process parentheses and always shows the current computed result. It uses no front-end frameworks: bare HTML, CSS, and JavaScript only.

this page

Simple, rarely updated, and forever a work in progress.

Make your only self your best self.
